Fishnet tights have always been in and out of the fashion scene. Just as patterned tights, at times they were considered a bit too bold. They have historically been assumed sexy and at times, racy as well. Hence, they were limited to wild parties and intimate situations. It is a smarter choice to wear a smaller pattern in black in public. If experimentation is your call, then you can layer tights over a pair of colored fishnets. For example, layering blue colored tights over black tights would surely make heads turn.

Experimenting with colors is a cool option. Go for pink tights and pair them up with black and pink lingerie. Sounds exciting, isn’t it. People often consider black as the run of the mill kinds which is not entirely correct. Try it out with different combinations and you can always make it look different and spunky. Also, use red fishnet tights as it works great with costumes and the best way to add that oomph factor to your lingerie.

There are a certain do’s and don’ts attached to it. You should never wear it to the office as it doesn’t carry that professional look that’s required in that atmosphere. Smaller wholes give a more elegant look. So, make sure you keep that in mind. Also, fishnets should never be the focus of your outfit. These garments should be used to enhance the look of your main outfit and not the other way round.

Matching your fishnet tights with your footwear is very important. You just cannot afford to go wrong with it.  You can do away with open toe and shoes with lots of laces, strings or designs. Boots, flats and heels can be couple with your tights according to your main outfit.
